Musical Productions (MP) is the label founded, created and directed by;          Antonio "Tony" Moreno.   Established in 1989, the company’s objectives have always been based on our belief in teamwork, the quality of our productions, and a strong selection of musical works. Our achievements would not be possible without these ingredients. Our commitment to our obligations, our responsibility towards the composers, artists and our many industry contacts, have been the key to our success. 

The artist team of   Musical Productions  is composed for the most part of talent from Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo and Cuba, offering the best in Salsa      (Pedro Conga, Tito Rojas, Pedro Jesus), Merengue ( Charlie Valens, ), Regional Mexican & Boleros , and Rap (Big Boy ). With hits through the years on radio and television in Puerto Rico, the United States and abroad, MP has had an international impact in a relatively short time, landing its artists in first place on Hit Parades in Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, Central America, Chile and elsewhere.

We demand the highest quality, not only during the recording process, but also at the manufacuring stage, where optimal quality of our cassettes is acheived using chrome-based magnetic tape and only the highest quality inspected Compact Discs.

At the same time, we have built our own buildings and recording studios in Miami, Puerto Rico and Mexico to maintain the quality production and to streamline the recording process.

Our in-house art dept. has the on hands experience of creating and developing the ideas of both the Artist and Company and our distinctive orange plastic CD and cassette cases are stamped with our logo. Not only does this aid in the effort to combat piracy, it also helps consumers identify our products better. We are always filming and releasing new videos of all of artists which are available for promotion, (Music Channels, Press, etc.), and sales.

  Our distribution at a national  level (Including Puerto Rico) is handled by Sony Discos . We internationally distribute through our alliances with licensees around the globe, and distribute ourselves in Mexico. We remain as one of the strongest tropical independents.  

   Our extensive promotional products includes promotional CDs, VHS videos, posters, photographs and biographies of our artists, and calendars of noted Artists  birthdays and include detailed information of the major holidays in all countries, Just to name a few  forms of promotion with the ultimate goal of promoting our artists.

   Our publishers NOTA PUBLISHING (ASCAP) and JULIA PUBLISHING (BMI) have been founded and are in operation to give our artists greater exposure and at the same time safeguard the copyrights of our material at a national, as well as international level.

   We have expanded our horizons by becoming the "FIRST LATIN RECORD LABEL ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB",  and hope to continue offering the latest in technology and the best in quality recordings to better serve the Musical world.
